How We Bring Your Designs to Life

When you hand someone a shirt or a jacket with your name, you’re not just giving them clothing. You’re showing them who you are, what you believe in, and what you stand for.

That’s why we take this work seriously. Every piece you order goes through our own production team at Records Street Printing, our sister company, here in Indiana, the same people we’ve trusted for years to get it right. No middlemen, no wondering where your order ended up, no compromises.

Whether you need 10 shirts for a local event or 1,000 pieces for your school, we’ll help you figure out the best way to make your idea real, without confusion, hidden costs, or endless back-and-forth.

  • This is the most common way to decorate t-shirts and sweatshirts. Ink gets pushed through a screen (like a stencil) one color at a time. It works best when your design uses fewer colors and has bold lines.

    Why people choose it:

    • It’s affordable for bigger orders

    • It lasts a long time, even with heavy washing

    • Colors look bright and solid

    Good to know:

    • There’s usually a minimum quantity, since setup takes time

    • Each color needs its own screen

    💧 Water-Based vs. Plastisol Inks

    • Plastisol sits on top of the fabric, so the print feels thicker and very solid.

    • Water-based soaks in, so you almost can’t feel it, like the shirt came that way.

We’ll show you samples so you can decide what feels right.

  • Instead of ink, your design is stitched into the fabric with thread. It looks polished and lasts forever.

    Best for:

    • Polos

    • Hats

    • Jackets

    • Bags

    Why people choose it:

    • It won’t fade or peel

    • It feels premium

  • DTF (Direct to Film)

We print your design onto a special film, then heat-press it onto the shirt. It’s bright, flexible, and works on many fabrics.

    Best for:

    • Multicolor logos on dark shirts

    • Small runs that still need vibrant detail

    DTG (Direct to Garment)
This is basically a giant inkjet printer for shirts. It prints all the colors at once, including photos and gradients.
    Best for:

    • Small quantities

    • Highly detailed designs

    • Soft feel on cotton shirts

  • Full-color performance. Built into the fabric.

Sublimation is the go-to method for vibrant, full-color designs that won’t crack, peel, or fade, because the ink isn’t sitting on top of the fabric, it’s infused into it. That means your design becomes part of the garment itself. The result? Lightweight, breathable apparel that feels just as good as it looks.

It’s especially ideal for performance wear and athletic uniforms, where comfort and flexibility are just as important as durability.

     What Sublimation Is Best For:

    • Sports jerseys and team uniforms

    • Spirit wear and fan apparel

    • Corporate polos and event gear

    • Custom designs with full coverage or intricate details

    • Garments made of polyester or performance blends

    Why Choose Sublimation?

    • No feel to the print – The design becomes part of the fabric

    • Unlimited colors – Great for gradients, fades, and photos

    • No extra cost for multiple colors or logos

    • Doesn’t crack or peel over time

    • Perfect for names, numbers, and team personalization

    What to Keep in Mind

    • Works best on white or light-colored polyester

    • Not suitable for cotton garments

    • Requires pre-production setup, so it’s ideal for bulk or planned orders
